𧤠Cold Enough to Hurt and Gloves Are in Short Supply
Itās cold out there, right? With wind chills hitting -31°C today, frostbite is no joke. Now, imagine facing that without gloves or warm boots. For many in Saint John, thatās their reality.
Outflow Ministry is doing what it can to help, but their 24-hour shelter and drop-in center are out of gloves, boots, and warm pants. Gloves are the most urgently needed.
Got a pair to spare? Swing by 100 Waterloo St., Mon-Fri, 9-4pm. Itās a small ask with a huge impact.
āļø Art Show Takes Flight at YSJ
Ready for a layover in creativity? Starting January 31, the Saint John Airport (YSJ) will be home to YSJ: Home, a vibrant art exhibit by the talented artists of LāArche Creative Connections. Featuring 16 local artists, the exhibit celebrates Saint Johnās iconic views and the spaces that bring us together. Itās more than just a show ā itās a celebration of community, connection, and the true meaning of home.
Join the opening on Friday, January 31, from 1-2 p.m. at YSJ, and catch the exhibit through mid-April. Whether youāre flying in, flying out, or doing the dreaded airport run for a loved one, take a moment to reflect on what home means to you.

š Big Hockey Weekend in Saint John
This weekend, Saint Johnās got hockey fever! The Denis-Cormier Hockey Tournament is taking over three local rinks ā Stewart Hurley, Peter Murray, and Lord Beaverbrook ā before wrapping up with the finals at TD Station. Itās going to be a full weekend of high school teams battling it out for the Denis-Cormier Cup, with the AAA finals Sunday at 4 p.m. and AA finals at 6 p.m. Donāt miss the action ā local hockey, local pride, and all the ice time you can handle! The tournament honours Denis Cormier, a beloved figure in the community known for his dedication to youth hockey. (CHSJ)
